Meet Our Multi-talented Team of Partners in Sunday Silence
We are a mix of foodies, photographers, artists and musically gifted coffee lovers in Nova Scotia, who appreciate the important things in life. Taking time to wonder at nature, sharing a meal with loved ones and creating experiences where memories can be made, whether at the beach, or in our homes; this is what restores us.
Terri – our humble artist in residence, whose beautiful artwork can be found on the side panel of our retail coffee bags, is working hard to create the sweetest touches to the unboxing coffee experience for subscribers and online customers. We are in awe of how she makes an art out of orchestrating every detail for optimum efficiency in our workflow. Keep an eye out for ‘Terri’s Tips’ depicting various brew methods in your monthly subscription.
Jody – knows how to cook on an open fire like no one else we have ever met… He is brilliant in the kitchen and with systems and strategy to ensure we reach our full potential. We love the twinkle in his eye (that is ever present), whether he is preparing an amazing meal, or drinking a flat white and dreaming about the future.
Mike – Founder of Sunday Silence Coffee Co., and hitting the ground running at whatever he sets his mind to, Mike is the Boxer to our Animal Farm. With a calming presence and a vision for what the customer truly desires, Mike’s creative instincts guide him in unveiling a product and experience to please everyone. He is also the Co-owner/Co-Founder of The Barn Coffee & Social House, Mahone Bay and a CrossFit enthusiast who probably has too many Americanos in the run of a day.
Amelia – opportunist and abstract thinker, the creative ideas never stop flowing. With a fun-loving free spirit, Amelia enjoys drawing the connection of what we are creating to how it impacts the lives and stories of our customers. She is also the Co-owner/Co-Founder of The Barn Coffee & Social House, Mahone Bay and a singer-songwriter and novice horse archer.
Jenny, Mickey, Rocco (Mike & Amelia’s girls) & Charley (Terri & Jody’s) - Meet our emotional support and comedic relief team. Nothing would get done without them.
